ततः प्रातः समुत्थाय स्नात्वा धौतांबरः शुचिः । ददौ दानानि विप्रेभ्यस्तपस्विभ्यो विशेषतः
tataḥ prātaḥ samutthāya snātvā dhautāṃbaraḥ śuciḥ | dadau dānāni viprebhyastapasvibhyo viśeṣataḥ
Puis, se levantant à l’aube, il se baigna, revêtit des vêtements fraîchement lavés et, purifié, fit des dons, tout particulièrement aux brāhmaṇas et aux ascètes.
