तन्मध्येंऽगुष्ठमात्रस्तु पुरुषो दृश्यते जनैः । सुस्नातैः श्रद्धयोपेतैस्ततस्तीर्थफलं लभेत्
tanmadhyeṃ'guṣṭhamātrastu puruṣo dṛśyate janaiḥ | susnātaiḥ śraddhayopetaistatastīrthaphalaṃ labhet
En son centre même, les gens aperçoivent un Purusha sacré, de la taille d’un pouce. Ainsi, ceux qui se baignent avec pureté et sont remplis de foi obtiennent le fruit entier de ce tīrtha vénérable.

Scene: A radiant lotus floats above the lake; at its center stands a tiny thumb-sized luminous Puruṣa, serene and resplendent. Devotees who have just bathed stand with folded hands, awed yet peaceful.
Faithful practice (śraddhā + proper snāna) opens one to divine darśana, which consummates the merit of pilgrimage.
