यस्मात्सौहृदनिर्मुक्ताः कृतास्तेन वयं द्विजाः । मदैस्त्रिभिः समायुक्ताः सर्वान्वयसमन्विताः
yasmātsauhṛdanirmuktāḥ kṛtāstena vayaṃ dvijāḥ | madaistribhiḥ samāyuktāḥ sarvānvayasamanvitāḥ
Car par lui, nous, les brāhmaṇas, avons été dépouillés de l’amitié et de la bienveillance ; bien que pourvus d’une noble lignée et des trois formes d’orgueil, c’est pourquoi cette conséquence s’ensuivra.
