वृषादर्भि रुवाच । प्रतिग्रहो द्विजातीनां प्रोक्ता वृत्तिरनिंदिता । ग्राह्यो मत्तस्ततः सर्वैर्नात्र कार्या विचारणा
vṛṣādarbhi ruvāca | pratigraho dvijātīnāṃ proktā vṛttiraniṃditā | grāhyo mattastataḥ sarvairnātra kāryā vicāraṇā
Vṛṣādarbhi dit : «L’acceptation des dons (pratigraha) est déclarée être, pour les deux-fois-nés (dvija), un moyen de subsistance sans blâme. Ainsi, vous tous, recevez de moi ; ici, nul besoin de délibérer.»
