Transliteration

ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | prāyaścittaṃ samādiṣṭaṃ mahāmāṃsasya bhakṣaṇāt | pratigrahasya bhūpālā dāpatkāle'pi no nṛpa

Translation

Les sages dirent : « Une expiation a été prescrite pour avoir mangé de la chair grossière ; et, ô roi, même en temps de calamité, l’acceptation de dons (pratigraha) n’est pas pour nous. »
