फलं श्राद्धस्य चात्र त्वं कारणं शृणु पुत्रक । श्राद्धार्हा ब्राह्मणाश्चात्र चमत्कारपुरोद्भवाः
phalaṃ śrāddhasya cātra tvaṃ kāraṇaṃ śṛṇu putraka | śrāddhārhā brāhmaṇāścātra camatkārapurodbhavāḥ
«À présent, mon cher fils, écoute la raison pour laquelle le śrāddha porte ici son fruit : les brāhmaṇas de ce lieu, nés de Cāmatkārapura, sont de véritables récipiendaires dignes du śrāddha.»
