इंद्रद्युम्नेति वै भूपस्त्वया दृष्टः श्रुतोऽथ वा । चिरायुस्त्वं श्रुतोऽस्माभिः पृच्छामस्तेन सन्मुने
iṃdradyumneti vai bhūpastvayā dṛṣṭaḥ śruto'tha vā | cirāyustvaṃ śruto'smābhiḥ pṛcchāmastena sanmune
«As-tu vu, ou du moins entendu parler, du roi nommé Indradyumna ? Nous avons appris que tu es d’une longue vie ; c’est pourquoi, ô sage vénérable, nous t’interrogeons.»
