द्वात्रिंशच्च सहस्राणि वर्षाणां कथितं विभो । तथा लक्षचतुष्केण साधुलोकविवर्जितम्

dvātriṃśacca sahasrāṇi varṣāṇāṃ kathitaṃ vibho | tathā lakṣacatuṣkeṇa sādhulokavivarjitam

Ô Puissant, il est dit que le Kali-yuga s’étend sur trente-deux mille ans, et qu’il se prolonge encore de quatre lakṣas : un âge décrit comme privé de la compagnie et de la direction des êtres vertueux.
