दानवा ऊचुः । वयं देवैः पराभूता भवंतं शरणागताः । क्व यामोऽन्यत्र चाऽस्माकं त्वां विना नास्ति संश्रयः
dānavā ūcuḥ | vayaṃ devaiḥ parābhūtā bhavaṃtaṃ śaraṇāgatāḥ | kva yāmo'nyatra cā'smākaṃ tvāṃ vinā nāsti saṃśrayaḥ
Les Dānavas dirent : «Vaincus par les Devas, nous sommes venus à toi chercher refuge. Où irions-nous ailleurs ? Car, sans toi, nous n’avons point d’abri.»
