ततोऽवगाहते यावत्तस्यास्तोयं सुशोभनम् । तावदाकाशसंभूता गम्भीरोवाच भारती
tato'vagāhate yāvattasyāstoyaṃ suśobhanam | tāvadākāśasaṃbhūtā gambhīrovāca bhāratī
Puis, tandis qu’il s’apprêtait à s’immerger dans ses eaux splendides, en cet instant même une voix grave—Bhāratī, née du ciel—se fit entendre.
