Tirtha: Tulasī (as gṛha-kṣetra-devī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A householder plants a young Tulasī sapling in a courtyard altar; family members offer water and a small lamp; Lakṣmī’s auspicious presence is suggested as a gentle aura over the home.
Simple devotional acts in household life—like planting Tulasī—are upheld as dharmic foundations that invite well-being and stability.
This verse shifts from a place-māhātmya to Tulasī’s sanctity; no single tīrtha is named in the verse itself.
Planting (ropana) of Tulasī by a gṛhastha as a meritorious observance.
