यो जपेत्पौरुषं सूक्तं स्नात्वा विष्णोः स्थितोऽग्रतः । मतिस्तस्य विवर्धेत शुक्लपक्षे यथोडुराट्
yo japetpauruṣaṃ sūktaṃ snātvā viṣṇoḥ sthito'grataḥ | matistasya vivardheta śuklapakṣe yathoḍurāṭ
Celui qui, après s’être baigné, se tient devant le Seigneur Viṣṇu et récite le Pauruṣa Sūkta, voit son intelligence croître sans cesse, telle la lune qui grandit durant la quinzaine claire.
