Transliteration

apasavyaṃ tataḥ kṛtvā darbhāṃstilasamanvitān | dviguṇānprakṣipedbhūmau pitṝnuddiśya cātmanaḥ

Translation

Ensuite, ayant pris la posture apasavya (le cordon sacré porté à droite), qu’il dépose sur le sol des brins de darbha mêlés de sésame, en quantité double, en les consacrant à ses propres Pitṛs, les Ancêtres.
