अनिष्टमपि राजेन्द्र तस्माच्छ्राद्धं समा चरेत् । विप्रपादोदकं यत्तु भूमौ पतति पार्थिव

Transliteration

aniṣṭamapi rājendra tasmācchrāddhaṃ samā caret | viprapādodakaṃ yattu bhūmau patati pārthiva

Translation

Ainsi, ô seigneur des rois, il convient d’accomplir le śrāddha selon le rite, même lorsque les circonstances paraissent défavorables. Car, ô roi, l’eau qui a lavé les pieds d’un brāhmaṇa, lorsqu’elle tombe sur la terre, confère un bienfait sacré.
