दौःस्थात्तदपि नो कुर्युः प्रायशस्तु पितामह । तेनास्माकं परा पीडा क्षुत्पिपासासमुद्भवा
dauḥsthāttadapi no kuryuḥ prāyaśastu pitāmaha | tenāsmākaṃ parā pīḍā kṣutpipāsāsamudbhavā
Pourtant, à cause de la pauvreté, ils n’accomplissent souvent même pas cela, ô Grand-Père vénérable. De là naît pour nous une souffrance intense, issue de la faim et de la soif.
