ब्रह्मोवाच । किमर्थं पितरः सर्वे समायाता ममांतिकम् । देवतानां मया सार्धं संपूज्याः सर्वदा स्थिताः
brahmovāca | kimarthaṃ pitaraḥ sarve samāyātā mamāṃtikam | devatānāṃ mayā sārdhaṃ saṃpūjyāḥ sarvadā sthitāḥ
Brahmā dit : «Dans quel dessein, ô Pitṛs, êtes-vous tous venus en ma présence ? Par moi, vous demeurez à jamais dignes de culte, avec les divinités».
