शुक्लपक्षं समासाद्य तारापतिरिवांबरे । वर्धमानस्य तस्यैवमतीताः पंच वत्सराः । बालक्रीडाप्रसक्तस्य पितुरुत्सङ्गवर्तिनः
śuklapakṣaṃ samāsādya tārāpatirivāṃbare | vardhamānasya tasyaivamatītāḥ paṃca vatsarāḥ | bālakrīḍāprasaktasya piturutsaṅgavartinaḥ
Comme la quinzaine claire croît, tel le seigneur des astres dans le ciel, ainsi grandissait l’enfant ; et cinq années s’écoulèrent, tandis qu’il se plaisait aux jeux d’enfance et demeurait sur les genoux de son père.
