पश्य ब्राह्मणि पापेन मया दुष्कृतकारिणा । न बालस्य मुखं दृष्टं प्रस्थितस्य यमालये
paśya brāhmaṇi pāpena mayā duṣkṛtakāriṇā | na bālasya mukhaṃ dṛṣṭaṃ prasthitasya yamālaye
Vois, ô brāhmaṇī : à cause de mon péché, moi qui ai commis le mal, je n’ai même pas vu le visage de l’enfant lorsqu’il est parti vers la demeure de Yama.
