Transliteration

etasminnantare jātaḥ sahasrākṣaḥ puraṃdaraḥ | śobhayā parayā yukto munestasya prabhāva taḥ

Translation

À l’instant même, Puraṃdara (Indra) devint ‘Sahasrākṣa’, celui aux mille yeux ; et, par la puissance de ce muni, il fut doté d’une beauté surpassante.
