Padmaja (Brahmā)
Scene: A śrāddha setting: brāhmaṇas seated with leaf/metal plates; a subtle ring/line of ash encircles the vessels, while Brahmā (Padmaja) instructs the performer to avoid that offering and maintain ritual purity.
Śrāddha requires care and purity; disruptive or inauspicious acts around the offering are to be avoided.
No specific tīrtha is named; the focus is ritual conduct within the Tīrthamāhātmya narrative.
During śrāddha, if ash-lines are placed around the brāhmaṇas’ food vessels by these beings, that arrangement/participation is to be rejected/avoided.
