पद्मज उवाच । श्राद्धकाले तु विप्राणां भोज्यपात्रेषु कृत्स्नशः । भस्मरेखां प्रदास्यंति ह्येतैस्तत्त्याज्यमेव हि
padmaja uvāca | śrāddhakāle tu viprāṇāṃ bhojyapātreṣu kṛtsnaśaḥ | bhasmarekhāṃ pradāsyaṃti hyetaistattyājyameva hi
Padmaja (Brahmā) dit : « Au moment du śrāddha, ces êtres traceront des lignes de cendre tout autour des récipients de nourriture des brāhmaṇas. C’est pourquoi, pour eux, cette nourriture/disposition doit être évitée à coup sûr. »
