तस्या नाम पिता चक्रे ब्राह्मणीति द्विजोत्तमाः । यस्मात्सा ब्राह्मणैर्दत्ता मण्डपान्ते सुपूजितैः

tasyā nāma pitā cakre brāhmaṇīti dvijottamāḥ | yasmātsā brāhmaṇairdattā maṇḍapānte supūjitaiḥ

Son père lui donna le nom de « Brāhmaṇī », ô meilleurs des deux-fois-nés, car elle avait été accordée par de vénérables brāhmanes—dûment honorés par le culte—à l’intérieur d’un maṇḍapa (pavillon).
