मृगावत्युवाच । यद्येवं पुत्रि यत्र त्वं प्रयास्यसि पतेर्गृहे । तस्य राज्ञस्तु यो विप्रः पौरोहित्ये व्यवस्थितः
mṛgāvatyuvāca | yadyevaṃ putri yatra tvaṃ prayāsyasi patergṛhe | tasya rājñastu yo vipraḥ paurohitye vyavasthitaḥ
Mṛgāvatī dit : «S’il en est ainsi, ma fille—lorsque tu iras dans la demeure de ton époux—il y a, dans ce royaume, un brahmane du roi, établi comme prêtre royal (purohita).»
