Transliteration

mahāsatī mahābhāgā sāvitrī sā pativratā | pūjyā ca sarvadevānāṃ jyeṣṭhā śreṣṭhā ca sadgaṇaiḥ

Translation

Sāvitrī est une grande femme chaste et bienheureuse, inébranlable dans le vœu d’épouse fidèle. Elle est digne d’être vénérée par tous les dieux, tenue pour l’aînée et la meilleure au sein des nobles assemblées.
