Type: tirtha
Listener: Indra (Sahasrākṣa)
Scene: Brahmā speaks calmly to Indra (Thousand-eyed), both seated in a celestial pavilion; Brahmā raises a hand in assurance, while Indra listens with reverence, the tīrtha’s promise symbolically shown as a shining waterbody below.
Purāṇic assurances are framed as authoritative when ratified by a cosmic witness like Brahmā—strengthening faith in tīrtha-dharma.
The same Nāgarakhaṇḍa tīrtha/kuṇḍa whose rites and fruits are being confirmed by Brahmā.
Not a new rite; rather, a formal confirmation that the previously stated tīrtha-ritual results will certainly manifest.
