Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 67

एकचित्ततया योगो ब्रह्मज्ञानसमुद्भवः । नान्यथा भविता मे स ततश्चित्तनिरोधनम् । करोमि ब्रह्मसंसिद्ध्यै ततो मेऽसौ भविष्यति

ekacittatayā yogo brahmajñānasamudbhavaḥ | nānyathā bhavitā me sa tataścittanirodhanam | karomi brahmasaṃsiddhyai tato me'sau bhaviṣyati

Le yoga naît de la connaissance de Brahman par l’unicité du mental; autrement, il ne viendra pas à moi. C’est pourquoi je pratique la maîtrise du mental pour l’obtention de Brahman—alors cette réalisation sera sûrement mienne.
