एवमुक्त्वाऽथ व्यभजंस्तत्सर्वं मुनयश्च ते । यज्ञोपवीतमात्राणि स्वानि तीर्थानि चक्रिरे

evamuktvā'tha vyabhajaṃstatsarvaṃ munayaśca te | yajñopavītamātrāṇi svāni tīrthāni cakrire

Après avoir ainsi parlé, ces sages répartirent le tout; et, n’ayant pour seul moyen que le cordon sacré (yajñopavīta), ils établirent leurs propres tīrtha, lieux de bain rituel.
