औदुम्बरं ततो दण्डं पुलस्त्योऽस्मै समाददे । एणशृंगान्वितं चर्म मन्त्रवद्विजसत्तमाः
audumbaraṃ tato daṇḍaṃ pulastyo'smai samādade | eṇaśṛṃgānvitaṃ carma mantravadvijasattamāḥ
Puis Pulastya lui remit un bâton de bois d’udumbara ; et les plus éminents des deux-fois-nés, avec des mantras, offrirent aussi une peau de daim munie de cornes.
