पितॄंश्च तर्पयिष्यन्ति य त्र श्रद्धासमन्विताः । जलेनापि गयाश्राद्धात्ते लप्स्यन्ते धिकं फलम्
pitṝṃśca tarpayiṣyanti ya tra śraddhāsamanvitāḥ | jalenāpi gayāśrāddhātte lapsyante dhikaṃ phalam
Ceux qui, pleins de foi, offriront des libations aux ancêtres en ce lieu sacré—ne fût-ce qu’avec son eau—obtiendront un fruit plus grand que celui du śrāddha accompli à Gayā.
