tataḥ provāca kiṃ devi tvaṃ tiṣṭhasi nirākulā | yajñayānocitaḥ kālaḥ so'yaṃ śeṣastu tiṣṭhati
Pulastya
Type: kshetra
Scene: A divine messenger/consort addresses a goddess, urging her to proceed quickly because the yajña-time is nearly over; the atmosphere is ceremonial, with hints of a nearby sacrificial arena.
Sacred duty should not be postponed—timely participation preserves the power and order of dharmic rites.
No specific tīrtha is named in this verse; it focuses on yajña timing within the chapter’s tīrtha-māhātmya frame.
Respect for the yajña’s appointed time (kāla/muhūrta) is explicitly emphasized.
