Type: kshetra
Scene: Brahmā, hands folded, addresses an assembly of venerable brāhmaṇas, requesting refuge and dīkṣā for commencing the sacrifice; the yajña pavilion and fire altar frame the scene.
Even the highest seeks dharmic authorization—humility before sacred law and its custodians is itself a purifier.
The verse continues the kṣetra-centered yajña narrative within Nāgara Khaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya; the named tīrtha is established in the adjoining passages.
Request for dīkṣā (ritual consecration) as a prerequisite to properly undertake the yajña-karman.
