विदूरथो नरेन्द्रोऽहं क्षुत्पिपासातिपीडितः । मृगलिप्सुरिह प्राप्तो वने जन्तुविवर्जिते
vidūratho narendro'haṃ kṣutpipāsātipīḍitaḥ | mṛgalipsuriha prāpto vane jantuvivarjite
« Je suis le roi Vidūratha, cruellement affligé par la faim et la soif. À la recherche de gibier, je suis venu ici dans cette forêt, déserte de créatures vivantes. »
