सा गत्वा प्रातरुत्थाय शुभे गंगातटे तदा । पञ्चपिंडात्मिकां गौरीं कृत्वा कर्द्दमसंभवाम्

sā gatvā prātarutthāya śubhe gaṃgātaṭe tadā | pañcapiṃḍātmikāṃ gaurīṃ kṛtvā karddamasaṃbhavām

S’étant levée de grand matin, elle se rendit alors sur la rive bénie de la Gaṅgā. Là, elle façonna Gaurī sous la forme de Pañcapiṇḍātmikā, née de la boue sacrée.
