स्मृतयो दूषितास्तेन पुराणानि विशेषतः । स्थानं चैवास्म दीयं च कर्म चैतत्प्रकुर्वता

smṛtayo dūṣitāstena purāṇāni viśeṣataḥ | sthānaṃ caivāsma dīyaṃ ca karma caitatprakurvatā

Par lui, les Smṛti ont été souillées—et plus encore les Purāṇa ; et notre juste rang, ce qui nous est dû, et le rite lui-même ont été corrompus par celui qui agit ainsi.
