श्रीभगवानुवाच । न तेऽस्ति मरणं दैत्य कथंचिच्चिंतितं मया । तेनेत्थं विधृतं व्योम्नि भित्त्वा शूलेन वक्षसि
śrībhagavānuvāca | na te'sti maraṇaṃ daitya kathaṃcicciṃtitaṃ mayā | tenetthaṃ vidhṛtaṃ vyomni bhittvā śūlena vakṣasi
Le Seigneur Bienheureux dit : « Ô Daitya, la mort n'est pas ordonnée pour toi, ainsi en ai-je décidé. C'est pourquoi tu as été maintenu en l'air dans le ciel, la poitrine transpercée par le trident. »
