जहसुः सुस्वरं केचित्केचिन्निर्भर्त्सयंति च । अन्ये स्त्रीति परिज्ञाय प्रहरंति न दानवाः
jahasuḥ susvaraṃ kecitkecinnirbhartsayaṃti ca | anye strīti parijñāya praharaṃti na dānavāḥ
Les uns éclatèrent de rire; d’autres les accablèrent d’injures. D’autres encore, reconnaissant : «Ce sont des femmes», les Dānavas ne les frappèrent pas.
