Devas (collective instruction)
Tirtha: Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: In Indra’s celestial court, the gods decide to send Rambhā, the foremost apsaras, to the side of a disciplined sage to break his brahmacarya; Rambhā stands poised, adorned, listening to the command.
Brahmacarya guards the power of tapas; hence temptations are portrayed as deliberate tests of spiritual discipline.
Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra, where the sage’s practice is so potent that the devas attempt to interrupt it.
No positive prescription; it narrates an attempted disruption of brahmacarya by deploying Rambhā.
