कात्यायनी समागम्य ततः पप्रच्छ सादरम् । वद कल्याणि मे कंचिदुपदेशं महोदयम्
kātyāyanī samāgamya tataḥ papraccha sādaram | vada kalyāṇi me kaṃcidupadeśaṃ mahodayam
Alors Kātyāyanī s’approcha et demanda avec respect : «Ô dame de bon augure, dis‑moi un enseignement qui apporte une grande élévation».
