तेषामपि च चत्वारि गोत्राण्युर गजाद्भयात् । गतानि तत्र यत्र स्युस्तानि पूर्वोद्भवानि च । चतुःषष्टिः स्थिता तत्र पुरे शेषा द्विजन्मनाम्

teṣāmapi ca catvāri gotrāṇyura gajādbhayāt | gatāni tatra yatra syustāni pūrvodbhavāni ca | catuḥṣaṣṭiḥ sthitā tatra pure śeṣā dvijanmanām

Parmi eux, quatre gotras s’en allèrent aussi, saisis de crainte devant l’éléphant-serpent ; ils partirent où ils purent—c’étaient des lignées d’origine plus ancienne. Les soixante-quatre restants des deux-fois-nés demeurèrent dans cette cité.
