Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 26

तस्मात्सर्वप्रयत्नेन कन्यायज्ञ उपस्थिते । दमयंती प्रद्रष्टव्या पूजनीया प्रयत्नतः

tasmātsarvaprayatnena kanyāyajña upasthite | damayaṃtī pradraṣṭavyā pūjanīyā prayatnataḥ

Ainsi, lorsque le rite de la jeune fille (kanyāyajña) est imminent, il faut aller voir Damayantī pour recevoir son darśana et la vénérer avec tout effort et toute vigilance.
