नारदेन तदा दैत्या बलिश्च बलिनां वरः । निवारितस्तद्वधाच्च वाक्यैरुच्चावचैस्तथा

nāradena tadā daityā baliśca balināṃ varaḥ | nivāritastadvadhācca vākyairuccāvacaistathā

Alors Nārada retint les Daityas, et Bali lui-même, le meilleur des puissants, de le tuer, par des paroles de toutes sortes, tantôt élevées tantôt simples, selon l’instant.
