Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 65

यावद्भावा ह्यनेकाश्च इंद्रियार्थास्तथैव च । यावच्च ममताभावस्तावदीशो हि दुर्लभः

yāvadbhāvā hyanekāśca iṃdriyārthāstathaiva ca | yāvacca mamatābhāvastāvadīśo hi durlabhaḥ

Tant que l’esprit s’éparpille en maintes directions, tant que demeurent les objets des sens, et tant que subsiste le sentiment du « mien », le Seigneur est, en vérité, difficile à atteindre.
