उद्भाति स्थितिमाप्नोति तथा विलयमेति च । तल्लिंगं लिंगमित्याहुर्लयनात्तत्त्ववित्तमाः

udbhāti sthitimāpnoti tathā vilayameti ca | talliṃgaṃ liṃgamityāhurlayanāttattvavittamāḥ

Il resplendit, atteint la stabilité et entre aussi dans la dissolution. C’est pourquoi les sages connaisseurs de la vérité l’appellent «Liṅga», car lors de la dissolution il absorbe tout en lui-même.
