एवं प्रहस्य रुचिरं गिरिजा तु शंभुं सा प्रेक्ष्या नर्मवचसा स तयाभिभूतः । देहीति म सकलमंगलमंगलेश यद्धारितं स्मररिपो वचसानुमोदितम्
evaṃ prahasya ruciraṃ girijā tu śaṃbhuṃ sā prekṣyā narmavacasā sa tayābhibhūtaḥ | dehīti ma sakalamaṃgalamaṃgaleśa yaddhāritaṃ smararipo vacasānumoditam
Ainsi, souriant avec grâce, Girijā regarda Śambhu et, par des paroles enjouées, le domina. Elle dit : «Donne-le-moi, ô Seigneur de toute auspiciosité — ô ennemi de Smara — ce que tu avais mis en gage et que tes propres paroles ont approuvé.»
