Scene: A stylized dice-play motif appears as a conversational image rather than a full gambling scene: two players, a board/cloth, dice in mid-air, while the divine couple observes—hinting at impending moral tension.
Even ordinary human activities are re-framed as divine līlā when centered on Śiva—joy becomes a sacred, dharmic expression rather than mere indulgence.
The episode belongs to Kedārakhaṇḍa and functions as narrative texture within Kedāra’s sacred setting, though this verse itself does not name a particular tīrtha.
No direct vrata, snāna, dāna, or japa is prescribed in this verse.
