Lomaśa
Tirtha: Kailāsa
Type: peak
Listener: Sages/pilgrims in frame narrative
Scene: A celestial assembly on Kailāsa: Rudra at center with serene authority; Indra and devas stand respectfully; Brahmā with folded hands recites hymns; Viṣṇu stands slightly behind in attentive service, holding a fly-whisk or offering tray.
Even the highest deities honor Śiva—devotion and humility before the Supreme are central to Purāṇic dharma.
Kailāsa as Śiva’s abode, the archetype of all Śaiva sacred landscapes.
No explicit ritual is prescribed; the verse highlights stuti (praise) as a devotional act.
