Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 6

खड्गांश्चैव च दुष्टात्मा दृष्ट्वा कांश्चिच्च पापवान् । पक्षिणोऽघातयत्क्रुद्धो ब्राह्मणांश्च विशेषतः

khaḍgāṃścaiva ca duṣṭātmā dṛṣṭvā kāṃścicca pāpavān | pakṣiṇo'ghātayatkruddho brāhmaṇāṃśca viśeṣataḥ

Ce pécheur au cœur mauvais, voyant certains khaḍga (rhinocéros), les tuait aussi ; et, dans sa colère, il frappait à mort les oiseaux—et même, tout particulièrement, les brāhmaṇas.
