नैवान्नं नो जलं किंचिन्न भुक्तं तद्दिने तया । चिंतयंती पतिं चापि लुब्धकी त्वयन्निशाम्

naivānnaṃ no jalaṃ kiṃcinna bhuktaṃ taddine tayā | ciṃtayaṃtī patiṃ cāpi lubdhakī tvayanniśām

Ce jour-là, la chasseresse ne prit rien—ni nourriture, ni même une goutte d’eau. Ne pensant qu’à son époux, elle traversa la nuit dans une attente anxieuse.
