ववर्ष गंडूषजलं दुरात्मा यदृच्छया तानि शिवे पतंति । श्रीवृक्षपर्णानि च दैवयोगाज्जातं च सर्वं शिवपूजनं तत्
vavarṣa gaṃḍūṣajalaṃ durātmā yadṛcchayā tāni śive pataṃti | śrīvṛkṣaparṇāni ca daivayogājjātaṃ ca sarvaṃ śivapūjanaṃ tat
Le misérable laissa tomber l’eau gardée en bouche (gaṇḍūṣa), et, par pur hasard, ces offrandes tombèrent sur Śiva. Les feuilles du Śrīvṛkṣa aussi, par le jeu du destin, devinrent, toutes ensemble, un acte de culte à Śiva.
