तारकस्य वधार्थाय उत्पन्नोऽसि शिवात्मज । तस्मात्त्वयैव कर्त्तव्य निधनं तारकस्य च
tārakasya vadhārthāya utpanno'si śivātmaja | tasmāttvayaiva karttavya nidhanaṃ tārakasya ca
«C’est pour abattre Tāraka que tu es né, ô fils de Śiva. Ainsi, la ruine de Tāraka doit être accomplie par toi seul.»
