एवं तदा तौ भुवि युध्यमानौ महात्मना ज्ञानवतां वरेण । स वीरभद्रो हि तदा निवारितो वाक्यैरनेकैरथ नारदेन

evaṃ tadā tau bhuvi yudhyamānau mahātmanā jñānavatāṃ vareṇa | sa vīrabhadro hi tadā nivārito vākyairanekairatha nāradena

Tandis qu’ils combattaient ainsi sur la terre, le magnanime Nārada—le premier des sages—retint alors Vīrabhadra, le maîtrisant par de nombreux conseils.
